Richard James Mayer, Jr. born February 25, 1966, passed away peacefully in Atlanta at the age of 52 on April 5, 2018, after a battle with pancreatic cancer. He is survived by this sister Traci Cahill and father Ronald Cahill, Sr. both of Crystal Springs, Florida, and his brother Ronald Cahill, Jr. of Norwich, Connecticut. Richard is preceded in death by his mother Sandra Cahill of Crystal Springs, Florida.

Richard was a multi-talented artist with disciplines in culinary and catering, construction design and build and furniture design. Richard lit up a room and was the life of any gathering. He brought so many people together throughout his life and always had time to help his friends and family.
