Debra Ann Alexander

1958-2024

It is with great sadness that the family of Debra Ann Alexander (66) of Conyers, Georgia announces her passing on November 22, 2024, at Piedmont Rockdale Hospital,

Conyers, Georgia, after a brief illness.

Debra was born on April 15, 1958, in Aiken, South Carolina to father, Billy G. Alexander, Sr. of Greenwood, South Carolina and mother, Martha Marlene Burgess Moon of

Garden City, South Carolina.

Debra was loved by many. She was a Connie Maxwell Children's Home alumni, Greenwood, South Carolina.

She was retired after many years with Kroger in the Atlanta, Georgia area.

She is survived by son James (Jamie) Hunter and daughter Milissa Hunter of the home, two grandsons, and three great-grandsons.

Along with her father and mother, she is also survived by sisters Caroline (Skip) Hamilton and Billie (Larry) Holmes, both of Greenwood, South Carolina.

Brothers Timothy (Varina) Alexander of Garden City, South Carolina,

and Billy (Lynn) Alexander, Jr. of Talking Rock, Georgia.

Debra was preceded in death by brother Johnny Alexander.

Debra will be remembered by those who knew her that she had a big heart, that she deeply loved her family, and for her strong belief and faith in Jesus Christ.

At Debra's request, no funeral service will be held. The immediate family will gather at a

later date to celebrate her remarkable life.
