Patricia Novak DiNapoli, 79, of Upper Montclair, New Jersey passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 19, 2026.  She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many and her presence will be deeply missed by all.

Patricia was born on August 29, 1946, to mother Mildred Novak and father, Robert Novak.  She spent her early years growing up in New York and New Jersey with her siblings Richard, Kenneth, Susan and John. The family then moved to England where they took many memorable trips throughout Europe. After returning to New Jersey, Patricia began her career and quickly climbed the ladder at Kidder, Peabody & Company in New York City where she was one of the first female executives in the European bond market. In 1969, she married Captain Patrick DiNapoli and after living for a brief time at Fort Dix, moved to Scranton, PA and then put down roots in Montclair, New Jersey. Shortly thereafter, they welcomed the arrival of their son, Tyler. She built a beautiful home and life there, hosting many events and parties and volunteering for the Philharmonic, Junior League, Montclair Kimberly Academy and Mothers' Morning Out.

In 2016, she relocated to Atlanta where she spent the past ten years closer to several of her siblings and nieces and nephews.  She is survived by her sister, Susan George of Decatur, GA, brothers Richard & JoAnne Novak of Boynton Beach, FL, Kenneth Novak of Cartersville, GA and John & Christine Novak of Surf City, NJ; her son, Tyler DiNapoli, daughter-in-law, Jessica Tabin; granddaughter, Isla DiNapoli of New York City, as well as a large number of nieces and nephews.
