STEPHEN ALLEN HESTER

Stephen Allen Hester, 41, lost his life unnecessarily during a brief stay at the Jackson Diagnostic Center in Jackson, Ga.

He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army with a two-year tour in Iraq.

He was a disabled veteran and resided with his children in Lavonia Ga.

Stephen was the son of the late Floy Jean Johnson and Gregory Hester of Ashburn, Ga.

He is survived by his son Devon Allen Hester 20, daughter Michayla Marie Hester 18 and grandson Adrian Ezra Martinez 1 year old.  Stephen was looking forward to meeting his first grandchild after leaving Jackson Diagnostic Center.

Survivors also include one brother Adam Johnson and wife Krystal of Hawkinsville, Ga., and one sister Sabrina Hester Taylor, three Aunts, two nieces and numerous cousins.

Memorial to celebrate his life will be announced later.
