Claude Hines Tison, Jr.

Claude Tison passed away on November 29, 2019 in Atlanta, Georgia, five months after a brain cancer diagnosis. We are thankful that we were able to be together as a family during his final months. Please join us to celebrate his life and share your memories of him at his memorial service at Lake Magdalene United Methodist Church on Sunday, January 19, 2020 at 3:00 PM.

Music was an integral part of Claude’s identity, and he sang as a member of the bass section in the Tampa Oratorio Singers for more than a decade. In addition to singing in TOS, he played the flute, piano, and violin and sang in the Lake Magdalene church choir for 30+ years. Music was one of the ways he connected with God, and his passion for music carried him through the final chapter of his life.
