Conyers, GA – Dennis Wayne Cabe, of Conyers, passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at the age of 67. Mr. Cabe grew up in Chamblee, GA and Lawrenceville, GA and had resided in Conyers since 1977. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 35 years of dedicated service to the Conyers Office. Mr. Cabe enjoyed the outdoors and nature. He loved deer hunting and fishing with family and friends. But most of all, he loved spending time with his family and his two granddaughters. Mr. Cabe was preceded in death by his parents, James L. Cabe and Ila Harriette Green Cabe.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Marybeth Cabe; oldest son, Shane Cabe (Barbara); youngest son, James “Jamie” F. Cabe; granddaughters, Sophia Cabe and Grace Cabe; sister, Wanda Cabe Jackson (Lee); and brother, James “Jimmy” T. Cabe (Rhonda,) and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.
A Memorial Service for Mr. Cabe was held Saturday, November 27, 2021, at Bethel Christian Church in Conyers, GA, with Pastors Caleb Penwell and Ken Stokes officiating. Memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society in the name of Dennis W. Cabe are appreciated.
