Elizabeth Joan Talley

Elizabeth Joanne Talley, of Mansfield, passed away on April 14, 2025 with family by her side at the age of 71. Joanne was born on November 11, 1953 in Porterdale, GA, but she was raised in Covington, GA. She loved her family and prayed for them daily. She was a hard worker and did anything she could for her family. She loved bright colors and hummingbirds. She loved any bird really and her dogs. She spoke her mind and was able to make you laugh like no one else. She loved listening to Christian music and celebrating Christmas as it was her favorite holiday. She loved going to the beach and to the mountains. When she loved you, she loved you with everything she had. She may have gained her angel wings, but she will be incredibly missed by her entire family.

Survivors include: her husband Keith Forbes, her daughter and son-in-law Deborah Talley-Brady and Terry Boyd Brady Jr., her son and daughter-in-law Michael and Jennifer Talley, her son and daughter-in-law Buddy and Britanie Talley; granddaughter and grandson in law Meredith and Blake Stone, granddaughter and grandson-in-law Claudia and Joe Holloway; granddaughters Autumn Talley, Victoria Talley, Alexis Talley, Kristin Talley, and grandson LB Talley; great-grandsons Brady Lajaunie and Jackson Stone; sister and brother-in-law Judy and Andy McFalls and brother Jerry Crowe; along with sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother Sara Gilstrap Crowe; granddaughter Savannah Talley; and brothers Johnny Crowe, Jimmy Crowe, and Larry “Frog” Crowe.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at 2pm at Tabernacle of Praise 3024 Main Street Hwy 11 Mansfield, GA 30055.
