Janice M. Lanier (Ransom)
April 10, 1935 – May 21, 2025
Janice M. Lanier, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2025, at the age of 90. Born on April 10, 1935, to Sidney and Grace Ransom, Janice lived a life full of grace, love, and quiet strength.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Kenneth Lanier; her son, Larry Seeker; her sister, Doris Houser; and her cherished parents.
Janice is survived by her two daughters and their husbands: Tamera and Brian Rouff, and Melissa and Eric Badendyck. She was a proud grandmother to Kolton and Sydney Gable, Sean and Emmy Miller, Amanda Underwood, and Hayden and Payten Badendyck. Her legacy continues through her five great-grandchildren: Adam, Lana, and Aaron Underwood, and Sarah and Leah Miller.
Janice will be remembered for her warm heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering love for her family. She created a home filled with kindness, laughter, and memories that will be cherished for generations.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 21st at 4:00 PM at Winder First United Methodist Church, located at 280 N Broad St, Winder, GA 30680. All who knew and loved Janice are welcome to attend.
