With heavy hearts and endless love, we share the Celebration of Life of Jessie Samuel, lovingly known as "Baedoll," who left this world peacefully on July 4, 2025. She passed at home in Stone Mountain, Georgia, surrounded by love, strength, and family she poured her soul into.
Born on July 12, 1948, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, to the parents of Charlie Earl Grant and Eva Mae Robinson Grant who both preceded her in death. She was the third of this union. Jessie was a woman of deep wisdom, quiet strength, and a spirit that uplifted everyone she encountered. She was more than a Sister/Mother/ Grandmother/ and Great Grandmother she was a life teacher, a pillar of resilience, and a source of unconditional love.
Jessie didn't just raise her family; she shaped them. Through her words, actions, and unshakable values, she taught lessons that will echo through generations. She taught us how to stand tall in the face of adversity, how to love without limits, and how to hold onto integrity no matter what life throws our way.
Her legacy lives on through her children, great-grandchildren, and the countless others who were touched by her spirit.
Rest easy, Baedoll. You were the light in our lives. We will carry your lessons with us always.
