Pamela Jo Hill (née Warren), age 74, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2025, in Hampton, GA.
Pamela was born on September 2, 1950, in Detroit, Michigan, and grew up on the east side of Detroit, where she attended Northern High School. She later moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she spent much of her life as a devoted housewife and loving mother.
Pamela was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Warren; her mother, Eunice Warren; her husband, George C Hill III, and her son, Marcus Warren.
She is survived by her son, George Hill IV, and his wife, Brandi Hill; her sister, Valecia Warren, and nephews, Melvyn Allen, Malik Warren Pettigrew; her grandchildren, Infinity Hill, Sean Jones, Siera Jones, Summer Patterson, Ahtazsha Blue, George Hill V, Malina Miles, Michaela Hill; and Anita Blue, mother of Ahtazsha Blue and George Hill V.
Pamela was a proud member of New Bethel Baptist Church in Pittsburgh, PA, and came from a family with a strong tradition of military service, with her father, husband, and son all having served in the Army.
Known for her infectious laughter and fierce devotion to her family, Pamela brought joy and warmth to everyone she met. She was always quick with a joke and was unwaveringly protective of her loved ones.
A memorial service to celebrate Pamela's life will be held on May 24, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. at the family's house in Stone Mountain, GA. Family and friends are invited to gather and share memories of a remarkable woman who touched many lives.
