Ritchie Delores Price

Ritchie Delores Price, 79, of East Point, GA received her heavenly wings on March 17, 2021. She was born on January 21, 1942 in Cleveland, OH. She was preceded in death by her parents; Ethel Pender Rigsby and Joseph Hamilton; husband, Reverand Dorrison Price; and former husband and father of her daughter, William “Billy” Whitlow.

Ritchie, affectionately called “Lois” by her friends in Atlanta and “Ma Dear” by her grandchildren, attended Cleveland Public Schools where she excelled as a seamstress graduating from Jane Adams High School. She was employed with the US Postal Service before moving from Cleveland to Atlanta in 1976 after her fathers’ passing.

She leaves to cherish her memory daughter, Mitzi Whitlow Watson of Downingtown, PA, one brother, Marc Hamilton; two grandchildren, Kamela Watson(Matthew Torres) of Cypress, TX and Tameka Watson of Philadelphia, PA; one great-grandson, Xavier Watson Dunkerson; cousins, Barbara Jean Tate-Pender of Mansfield, OH and Tony Parsons of Cleveland, OH; devoted friends Amelia “Gagu” Harris and Lytonia Robinson, and a host of other cousins and friends.
