Roane Christian, lovingly known as "Boozie," passed away peacefully on December 9, 2025, at the age of 73, in Decatur, Georgia.
Born on November 22, 1952, in Road Town, Tortola, Roane was the beloved son of Olive Smith and Eric Christian, Sr.
A proud United States Navy veteran, Roane served his country with honor and dedication. Following his military service, he poured his heart into one of his greatest passions—cooking—bringing joy, comfort, and connection to all who shared a meal with him. Known for his warmth, humor, and generous spirit, Roane had a way of making everyone feel welcome.
He is survived by his daughter, grandchildren, siblings, nieces and nephews, and a wide circle of extended family and cherished friends who will forever hold his memory close.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Emmaus Moravian Church, Coral Bay, St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands.
